This course is the benchmark "awareness" course, primarily to help tradespeople identify the most commonly found asbestos containing materials. It also covers an appreciation for the risks from asbestos, responsibilities and the basic controls.

It is based on the UK Asbestos Training Association syllabus for Awareness-level courses.
